Our major fundraising campaign has started for the UniAction Center and Residence.
After successfully containing the virus for much of the pandemic, Vietnam is currently facing a rapid spread of Covid-19 infections. It is the difficulty in controlling the delta variant and the low vaccination rate that mainly cause this major crisis.
Ho Chi Minh City and 18 other cities and provinces are currently in lockdown and affected by travel restrictions.
UniAction has often supported initiatives to help the population in Vietnam.
As part of this crisis, UniAction has decided to launch the COVID Vietnam Fund for Vietnamese families affected by the COVID-19 crisis.
The funds raised will directly help families in the loss of income, who need medical care, and who need masks/gloves during this crisis.

Among the events, we have the conference as part of the International Day of Living Together in Peace, the Lantern Ball, the launch of the documentary A Moonless Night, the exhibition on culture and history of Vietnam at the Pointe Museum-à-Callière, the Christmas stocking for underprivileged children, scholarship grants for perseverance of the Fonds 1804 and much more.
